As Director of Honors at Hiram College, I have found working with students very rewarding. Under my leadership the past four years our honors program has seen enormous growth and new excitement. The heart of my honors work has been building professional relationships with students: advising, planning, running events, and just being available.
I also have worked extensively with a group called Emerging Scholars, made up of students who benefit from supplementary attention. Seeing progress in self-confidence is extremely rewarding!
